Twenty-four year old Quinnlyn Garcia grew up in Austin, TX. She graduated from The Art Institute of Austin where she went to school for interior design. After graduating, she moved to Sleepy Hollow, NY where she currently resides. She works as an interior designer at CM Designs NY.

Quinlynn tends to be a pretty bubbly person. She isn’t over the top about it, but she is rarely seen looking anything less than happy. She is very optimistic even when things aren’t going the best, she will try to look on the positive side of things. She is very happy and enthusiastic about everything in her life. The one situation that changes this is when her father is brought up in conversation. It is still a very sore subject for her to talk about, and she tends to close off when he is the topic of conversation. She tends to be spontaneous and loves to make last minute decisions to go do things. Quinnlyn loves to travel and gain new experiences. She loves making new friends and spending time with the friends she has. She loves watching HGTV and dreams of some day having her own interior design company and a show on the network focused on her company.

biography
Quinnlyn Garcia was born into a very loving family. Her parents Julian and Cassandra were high school sweethearts. They started dating at 17 years old despite Cassandra's parents thinking she was too young. The couple proved her parents wrong though, as they stuck together through high school and college. Soon after graduating from college, the two got married and had their first child. Julian went through Police Academy and became a police officer, while Cassandra became a journalist for the newspaper. A couple years later, they welcomed Quinnlyn into their family. Quinnlyn is very family oriented and was very close to her parents and older sibling. Even though she was a girly girl, she was definitely a Daddy's girl. She spent a lot of time helping him around the house when he had odd jobs he needed help with, she went fishing with him on weekends, whatever she could to bond with him. She and her mother got along great as well, she was almost like a friend more than a parent.
Growing up, she had a typical happy childhood. She had a lot of friends throughout school, she was usually in the popular group, though she didn't see herself as really fitting into that group. She was a cheerleader in high school and played vollyball. With a mother who is a journalist, she thought she might be interested in following in her mother's footsteps. She took a journalism class during high school and soon discovered it wasn't for her. After graduating High School, she struggled to decide what exactly she wanted to do with her life. Finally, she discovered her love for interior design by watching HGTV. FOr the next several years, she worked as a waitress to pay for college, with the help of her parents chipping in. In January 2013, her father Julian was killed while on duty. He responded to a call for sexual abuse and burglary. When he showed up at the address, the man involved had a gun and her father was shot and killed. The death devestated Quinnlyn. He had been the rock that supported her for her entire life. The death is something that Quinnlyn has learned she had to move on from, but is still a very sensitive topic for her. The usual open, optimistic, bubbly girl immediately shuts down when anyone tries to talk to her about her father or his death. Despite the heartbreak of his passing, she continued to focus on school work and finish her classes. She graduated from college with a degree in interior design in May 2014. She stuck around Austin for a few months while she saved up money and looked for jobs. Unfortunately, there were memories of her father everywhere and it was hard for her to live in the same city he was killed in the year before. Later that year, she moved to Sleepy Hollow, NY.
Quinnlyn lives in an apartment that she shares with her roommate. She began working at CM Designs NY as an interior designer. She absolutely loves her job and feels it is a dream come true. Some day she hopes to open her own interior design company. Her dream would be to have a show on HGTV featuring the company she wants to open. In her free time, she loves to read, listen to music, watch movies, spend time with friends, cook, go shopping, or watch thunderstorms. She loves to travel and hopes to travel internationally someday. She loves to be spontaneous and do crazy new experiences when she has time.
